It's not to the detriment of customers for their reason of withholding spec details. It's because they don't want their competition knowing all the details of their product, that way they can stall as much as possible in giving them(Sony/MS, etc...) an edge in building their own devices.
I was going to buy this on Steam but they want $40. The 360 version looks great and it'll only be $15.

I guess you've never used the Splashtop app before. As far as wanting the real thing, I was speaking of somone who may have an iPad and wanting to run Windows but not wanting to pay an arm and leg for a new device when they can just pay a few dollars for an app that virutally does the same thing :)

Why would he go from a company like Epic, which is one of the most successful indie companies out there, both critically and financially, all the while being their posterboy--to joining ND, a 2nd party dev company? It just wouldn't make sense, that would be a huge pay cut...
Established meaning...ancient? Everyone that wants a PS3 has a PS3 or they want a price cut and Sony didn't provide that. Any PS3 super slim that sells will be by people upgrading their existing PS3. Wii U will be providing new tech in the dedicated gaming space to mainstream users/buyers.
